What is the difference between a CLIA Waived and a Forensic Use Only (FUO) drug test?

A CLIA Waived test has been cleared by the FDA for over-the-counter use. Individuals and organizations can use it for preliminary screening.

A Forensic Use Only (FUO) test has not been FDA-cleared. It is intended for professional and institutional use in legal and forensic contexts, and results should be confirmed by a laboratory when confirmation is required.

Do I need a prescription or license to purchase your products?

How do I read the test results?

Each product includes a package insert with step-by-step instructions. A preliminary positive result should always be confirmed using an accredited laboratory method such as GC-MS or LC-MS/MS before any consequential decision is made.
